COVID-19: China-wide Universal Health Code
Although things are certainly getting closer to normality in China, many residential compounds, malls, gyms, bars, and restaurants are asking for people to show a color coded permit, or government issued app to prove they aren’t a health risk.
Because foreigners aren’t able to register on some of the local health apps, we present you a universal solution, which only takes a few minutes. If all goes well and the code shows a green result, you can easily prove that you have not been to any epidemic-stricken region or country.
If you are looking to travel to another city, or you are often required to have a physical health permit. Also note that there are unfortunately still touristic attractions and other places that don’t allow foreigners, whatever the status of your Health App. We advise to check in advance.
Long press on the code to access the Mini-Program.
Enter your phone number, obtain the verification code, and click “Agree and authorize the operator to retrieve the information about the places you have visited in the last 14 days”, and then click “Inquiry”.
Done! You now have the card, which reflects your travel status. The card will be updated in real time.
GREEN
All Ok.
YELLOW
This means that you’ve been in a high-risk country or regions during the past 14 days. This list changes according to the number of infected cases, though currently has over 70 countries or regions.
RED
You have a problem.
Hope this helps!
